More Information about Cancer and Cancer Screening
The first comprehensive report on colorectal cancer in Europe was recently issued by the London School of Economics surveyed the screening and management of colorectal cancer in 17 European countries and Australia. The report concludes that screening for colorectal cancer in Europe is "below par" compared with other cancers, at least in part due to the lack of participation in screening programs. The report further urges greater prioritization of colorectal cancer screening, as a cost-effective measure to save lives and reduce the burden of this disease.
